Audi S5 private sale – worth getting a full inspection before buying?
I've been negotiating with a seller for a 2017 Audi S5 and the price is tempting, but the car has some modifications and the owner admits it's been driven hard occasionally. I'm not too worried about cosmetic stuff, but I've heard the 3.0T engines can have rocker arm issues and the DSG mechatronic unit can fail without warning. Since I'm not a mechanic, I figured I should look into a Trusted Audi Car Inspection Dubai to check compression, scan for hidden fault codes, and inspect the haldex system if it's a Quattro. Has anyone here used an independent inspector for an Audi before? I'm trying to avoid buying someone else's problem, but I also don't want to waste money if the car is actually clean. Would love to know if an inspection helped you negotiate or made you walk away from a bad deal. Any advice on what specific things to ask the inspector to focus on would be great.
