I’ve spent the last few years working in finance, but deep down I’ve always wanted to become a doctor. After talking with a friend who recently started medical school, I began looking into a Caribbean school of medicine as a possible way to make that career change. It seems like a lot of students come from different backgrounds, which makes me feel a little more confident. Before I take the next step, I’d really like to hear from people who have been through it. Was the transition difficult, and did the program give you the support you needed to succeed?
