So my 2014 S Class has been sitting for a few days and now when I try to start it, I get that horrible slow crank like the battery is about to give up. It still starts eventually but I know I'm on borrowed time. The problem is I'm pretty sure this car needs the battery registered to the computer and I don't trust just any random garage to do that correctly. I called the dealer for a quote and nearly fell off my chair – they want almost 2500 AED including labor. There's got to be a better option.
