That annoying raspy rattle under the car is getting worse
I've got a 2016 Grand Cherokee Overland that I absolutely love, but for the last couple months there's been this annoying metallic rattle that seems to come from somewhere underneath when I accelerate from a stop or go over bumps. At first I thought it was just a heat shield, but I crawled under there and everything seems tight. A friend suggested it could be a loose baffle inside the muffler or maybe a broken exhaust hanger. The noise is driving me crazy because the car otherwise runs perfectly and has no check engine light. I've been putting it off but now I'm worried a small problem is going to turn into a big one. I really need a Trusted Exhaust Service Abu Dhabi that can actually pinpoint the source without just telling me to replace the whole catback system for thousands. Has anyone dealt with a similar mystery rattle on a WK2? Also curious if a failing exhaust flex pipe could cause this kind of noise without any noticeable leak. I'm in Mussafah for work a lot so any shop recommendations around there where they actually listen to the car before quoting would be great. Just want my quiet Jeep back.
